Petar Spiljevic

Serbian born Petar Spiljevic has been based in South Africa since 1991 and commenced his directing career in 2006. Prior to this Petar had a lengthy stint as a sought after and highly awarded art director for commercials and music videos.

With his first commercial being a Cannes Shortlist, Petar has grown his reel directing spots for a wide range of brands proving his versatility. These include brands such as Nedbank to design brands such as Tonic. Petar brings a highly stylized approach and has a reputation for taking ordinary stories to the next level and reinventing the genre he is working on. Petar has also recently had a finalist in the TV/ Cinema category at the New York Festival awards for Consol.

Petar possesses a healthy obsession and detail to music which derives from rocking the radio waves in the late 80’s when he was a radio DJ In Serbia.
